Nestled in the rural countryside of Herefordshire, Oakwrights has operated nationwide and abroad since 1999.

Like an acorn to an oak, we have grown from six employees to 135 during the past 20 years. We are now established as one of the leading oak frame building companies in the UK. While we strive to improve efficiencies by investing in advanced technologies and continual staff development, we remain true to our roots as a family-focused passionate company.

Having established the business, Tim Crump remains at the helm. Tim remembers Oakwrights’ humble beginnings and continues to drive the company forward by exceeding our customers’ expectations.

Passion is at the heart of our business. Our designers strive to bring your aspirations and dreams alive as a 3D model, while our expert craftsmen carefully transform those drawings into an oak-framed reality.

Beautiful by nature

As important as state-of-the-art technology is in the process of building an oak frame, the hand skills of expert craftsmen are still as important in the build process today as they have always been.

All our oak frames are traditionally jointed, pegged and draw-bored by our skilled and experienced carpenters. Our fabrication process is sped up through the use of state-of-the-art machinery in our Herefordshire workshops.
